Pedro Marinho
Gracie Barra Riverstone is led by Head Instructor and Founder Pedro Marinho. A world-class competitor and one of the most respected names in modern Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Pedro brings a wealth of elite experience directly to our mats in Sugar Land. A Multi-Time World Champion, Pedro has reached the pinnacle of the sport, holding prestigious titles across the globe’s most competitive stages (IBJJF, ADCC, and professional grappling circuits). His journey is defined by a relentless work ethic, technical precision, and a deep commitment to the Gracie Barra philosophy of "Jiu-Jitsu for Everyone." Though he competes at the highest level of professional grappling, Pedro’s true passion lies in teaching. He is dedicated to sharing the life-changing benefits of BJJ with his students—helping them develop not just as martial artists, but as individuals.
